apartment set in a post-war block from early fifties | 50 sqm, project completed 2012 | photography by marcin czechowicz | set design: eliza mroziĊ„ska

inspired by a living machine concept the studio is divided by a functional, modernist in shape volume encapsulating bathroom, storage and kitchen. Simple colour scheme refers to paintings of Theo van Doesburg and neoplasticism. However theory meets life and the flat is furnished by vintage furniture of diffrent historic periods coexisting with cubistic block of the kitchen inhabited by two cats. The guests are not aware that behind the pivot bookshelf one can find a bedroom.
